On July 5th, I reported that I never received the card, and they assured me a new one would be sent out. Each time, I was fed with empty excuses like the card being expedited or rush delivery, but the reality was far from it. Despite calling them every week in July, their customer service was appalling. I applied for a credit card on June 15th, and since then, it has been nothing but a series of broken promises and incompetence. My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare. Strongly discourage any interaction with this company. This issue has not been resolved as of July 25, 2023. My great credit has been injured and my next step is to hire an attorney. I have submitted complaints to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency who handles these banks. One June 26, 2023, I received an email saying the charges were authorized because a chip card was used and I was charged for the purchases. On June 20, 2023, Credit One Bank notified the three credit bureaus that my card ending in **24 was over the limit, and my Credit Score was injured by 47 points negative. The card was cancelled, and a new card was issued. I was physically in Richardson, TX while the purchases were made in Queens and Elmhurst, NY. I did and still do have possession of the card ending in **24 and there are not authorized users on the account. I did not authorize anyone to make purchases with my credit card. ![]() I immediately contacted Credit One Bank to report the unauthorized purchases and I was transferred to the fraud department (outsourced to a call center in Pakistan) where I was asked several questions about the purchases. These purchases were for $119.76 at Champs Elmhurst, NY and $141.54 Asphalt Store in Elmhurst, both on June 19, 2023. I logged into my Credit One account ending in 6124 and discovered there were two unauthorized purchases on my account. ![]() On June 19, 2023, at 2:46 PM CST I was at my work located in Richardson, Texas when I received two text messages from Credit One Bank alerting me to two purchases in two separate locations, Clique in Queens, NY and Foot Locker in Elmhurst, NY, that were declined because the card was over its limit. ![]()
